Armor Association

The U.S. Cavalry & Armor Association grew out of the United States Cavalry Association, established by a small group of cavalry officers in 1885 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

The Cavalry & Armor Association's charter is: to preserve and foster the spirit, the traditions, and the solidarity of Cavalry and Armor in the United States.

The Association is a non-profit organization with over 4,000 members dedicated to disseminating knowledge of the military art and sciences, with special attention to mobility in ground warfare.

1/32 CAV has rejuvenated the Armor/ Cavalry espirit de corps within their Squadron:

1/32 CAV has rejuvenated the Armor/ Cavalry espirit de corps within their Squadron by holding their first of many to come Order of ST. George Ceremonies on 31 March 2010. CPT Robert Quint was presented an Order of ST.

George Bronze Medallion and LT Battle Ewing and SSG Nathaniel Wilson were presented the Order of ST. George Black Medallion. These ceremonies identify the very best Cavalryman and those Leaders other than Cavalry who work side by side to ensure the mission is successful.

Ltc. Douglas Vincent and CSM Andrew Barteky have been in the constant state of branding in the Bandit Squadron, Bastogne Brigade. Ltc. Vincent and CSM Barteky have successfully led the charge to bring the "One Team, One Fight" concept to the Squadron Team.
